The Big Weave.
An interactive installation that started as a community project for our annual Chandos Road Street Party… but that went on to be a tool for inter-generational, collaborative making.

…the Big Weave, in it’s freedom to choose fabric or trimmings that spark joy, that feel interesting or look unusual, and to add them to an ongoing, developing structure, leaving a mark on an artwork, is empowering. Working side by side, making and sharing is joyful, Choosing what, where, when and how is pure creativity!
